Maxar is currently seeking several Software Engineering Managers to join our Space Programs Delivery teams in Westminster, CO and/or San Jose / Palo Alto, CA.

In this role, you will lead an amazing Software team to put satellites in orbit around the earth and moon. Specific departments include: Flight Software, Dynamics & Controls Analysis, Simulation, Ground Software, V&V, and Software Systems.
Your Projects: You will lead a team of 10-15 engineers using Scaled Agile Framework to partner with our customers like NASA to develop the Power Propulsion Element (PPE) for the Moon Gateway (Artemis) to send the first woman and the next man back to the moon. You will be responsible for new avionics software integrations, establish software platforms, conduct dynamics spacecraft analyses, develop ground control software, develop spacecraft simulators, and/or drive validation & verification for all satellite software projects.
