Bookkeeper Job Description
Position Concept: The Bookkeeper serves as an administrative support staff person who assists the Clubhouse/Office Manager, and General Manager. She/He is responsible for: providing bookkeeping services, maintaining financial bookkeeping system including accounts payable, receivable, and cash receipts; balancing ledgers, and reconciling bank statements; preparing financial statements. May assist with budget.

Specific Responsibilities - include but are not limited to:
Essential Job Functions;
Daily AP and AR, post to GL, reconcile accounts
Data entry of club's daily cash closes
Organized and proper filing of club's invoices and documents
Monitor expense reports and receipts
Banking deposits, and reconcile bank statements
Provide financial reports when needed
Reconcile credit card statements and ensure receipts match
Prepare reports required for regulatory agencies
Deliver deposits to bank in a safe and timely way
Direct calls and respond to inquiries
Assist the club's accountant with any tax reports and information
Experience:
knowledge of office administration and bookkeeping procedures
ability to maintain a high level of accuracy confidentiality concerning financial files
effective written communications skills
computer skills including the ability to operate spreadsheet and word processing programs such as QuickBooks Online and all Microsoft programs
Start date: Mid February
Position is 2-3 days per week during months of April-October, 1-2 days October-March.
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: $14.00 to $15.00 /hour
