Work outside with the pups (be ready to get dirty!) and cleaning chores. Shifts needed are Thursday through Saturday including major holidays and the possibility of other days. The job also includes 1-2 late evening "kennel checks" of boarding dogs, so reliable transportation is a must. Approximately 20-30 hours per week. Shifts start as early as 7 a.m. and end as late as 6 p.m
Ideal candidate does not need experience with dogs, but must be willing to learn, be observant, and be physically ready for anything. We are a small crew and rely on each other for support. For the safety of the dogs and coworkers, Reliability is vital.
Perks include use of the self service dog wash, you can bring your dog to work (with some restrictions, after probationary period), free boarding of personal pets during off season (with some restrictions).
This position is seasonal and will end in mid September, but could become year-round.
