Archuleta Seniors provider of Meals on Wheels & our Senior Community Cafe is now hiring a full-time Sous Chef. Hours Monday to Friday, 7 am - 3 pm. Weekends off and paid holidays. A health stipend is offered after 90 days of employment. Resumes may be submitted by email to Cynthia@psseniors.org or dropped off in person at the Pagosa Senior Center, 451 Hot Springs Blvd, 1 - 3 pm weekdays.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sous Chef at ARCHULETA SENIORS INC., located in beautiful Pagosa Springs, CO. The Sous Chef will assist in the preparation and execution of daily meals, ensuring high-quality and nutritious food is provided to senior residents of Archuleta County. Responsibilities include menu planning, food ordering, maintaining kitchen cleanliness and hygiene standards, managing kitchen staff, and assisting the Head Chef as needed.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of Culinary skills, including food preparation, cooking, timing, or equivalent experience.

Menu planning and inventory management skills

Experience in maintaining kitchen cleanliness and hygiene standards

Ability to manage and train kitchen staff

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Relevant certifications in food safety and culinary arts.

Experience in a senior living facility or similar environment is a plus
