stroke victim needs extra help. You do not need to be certified or a graduate. You can be a PT, OT or ST student or just someone willing to assist a stroke victim to perform bed exercise and form words. He is currently receiving speech, occupational and physical therapy, but not on all days. We, his family want him helped even more timeThe patient is in a skilled nursing home on Honolulu Ave n Montrose. So, if you live nearby and can stop in and help the patient to do bed exercise or vowel and word pronunciation that is what is needed. A discipline and ability to direct sessions under and hour is what is needed. You would be visiting as a guest and sit by the patients bed as I do and direct exercise and speech, such as saying the alphabet. I will meet you with the patient and we will go over what you could do and then visit without me there. This is an ideal job for someone who lives very close who can stop in many times a week. the family it not rich but want to get extra help for the patient, You could be a high school student if you are motivated to do this type of work. We could hire one or several persons and have them all work. You could come twice a day if you were nearby and it was easy for you to stop in for a session.
