Dental Hygienist

Seeking a Hygienist for one day a week. Join our down to earth, happy team! Our office is growing, we need a Hygienist to join the team!
The ideal candidate would have strong patient communication abilities, with an emphasis on patient education. Experience with Eaglesoft is a plus. Day of the week is negotiable, we are in the office M-Th from 8-5.
Gathers information from patient about previous dental care to assist in patient education/expectation/concerns.
Performs initial charting of existing conditions.
Performs periodontal charting.
Takes diagnostic radiographs according to doctors standard of care.
Takes intra-oral photos of decay and fractures.
Performs dental prophylaxis.
Assists the dentist in diagnosing, educating and case acceptance of periodontal disease/therapy.
Assists the dentist entering proposed charting/proposed treatment plans.
Pre-appoints patient for next recare appointment.
Actively transfers patient/passes the baton/while creating urgency to front desk for scheduling of next operative appointment.
Turns room over for next patient in a timely manner.
Enters Chart notes in a timely manner.
Assists in the sterilization of instruments in the central sterilization area.
Breaks down room at the end of the day, including trash removal and mopping as needed.
Assists in keeping hygiene schedule full.
