Job Description:
We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Garden Maintenance Crew Lead to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a crew in performing essential property care duties, including but not limited to weeding, pruning, deadheading, planting, dividing, mulching, spring/fall clean up, and edging. The ideal candidate will have experience in field work, with a preference for individuals with a background in landscaping, gardening, or farming.
Responsibilities:
Lead crew in daily tasks of essential property care duties, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards.
Manage job flow and crew efficiency.
Track time on jobs and drive time.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide updates on project progress.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the crew.
Train and mentor team members on best practices for garden maintenance.
Requirements:
Proven experience in field work, with a strong preference for candidates with landscaping, gardening, or farming experience.
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and lead a team.
Effective communication skills
Ability to solve problems and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
Knowledge of horticultural practices and plant identification.
Familiarity with landscaping tools and equipment.
