This position will provide professional Ground Maintenance and Shuttle support while maintaining the GHS properties in an attractive
and safe manner at all times.
Primary Duties:
Ensure and cultivate positive, professional relations and interactions between guests and other departments.
Ensure guest shuttle services are timely and professional.
Keep all sidewalks, stairways, doorways and steps clean, clear of debris, leaves, branches, snow and ice through power washing, sweeping, blowers, salt and or shoveling.
Inspect and maintain grounds i.e., all grass, flower beds, shrubs and parking lots.
Maintain all equipment, shuttles, gator, 4 wheeler, supplies, and maintenance room.
Provides support to the maintenance team members.
Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Experience with maintenance, lawns, trees, shrubs, sprinkler systems, parking, and intensive exposure to the recreational public a plus.
Adequate physical agility to perform driving, maintenance tasks such as climbing ladders and stairs, kneeling, stooping, bending, reaching, push, pull, carry and lifting up to 50 lbs., using hand and power tools, etc. for the entire work shift.
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing and read instructions in English.
Solid team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
Must be 21 years of age with a valid drivers license and a clean Motor Vehicle record and background check.
Ability to drive and work outside a large portion of the shift in all types of weather.
Must maintain provided uniform shirt and overall appearance.
Regular attendance and arriving on-time to all scheduled shifts and meetings is considered an essential function of the job.
Must be willing to work as a team and willing to work weekends and holidays and flexible hours.
