Skills required but not limited to:
Knowledge and experience maintaining a Housing Complex
Electrical experience, fixtures, outlets, basic wiring
Plumbing, heating systems, swamp cooler repair knowledge and experience
Basic housing repairs (replace sinks, faucets, toilets, caulking, etc.)
Strong drywall experience patching, finishing and painting
Appliance installation
Basic construction knowledge and experience
Work order knowledge
Manual labor
Basic lawn care, sprinkler system knowledge and experience
Must be available to participate in rotating, stand-by emergency call out service evenings and weekends. Check and replace hallway lights, common area lights. Knowledge of locations of water, gas meters, fixture shut-offs and sewer clean-outs. Repair and/or replace broken glass, tile, carpet, screens, blinds, locks and keys. Interior and exterior painting experience is required. Perform plumbing work such as clearing stoppages, replace fittings, garbage disposals, dishwashers, etc. Perform carpentry work such as replacing shelves; refinish doors and woodwork, fitting and replacing doors, freeing windows, etc. Assist in custodial and grounds work as necessary, lawn care, snow removal, raking, pick up trash, and haul furniture when required. Complete swimming pool maintenance and logs.
