Colvig Silver Camps is seeking a laundry person for the summer of 2019.
Pay: 11.50/hr
Hours: 20 - 30 hours per week (laundry days are scheduled; hours are flexible)
Dates: Our summer season runs from June 10th to August 10th
Responsibilities: The laundry person is responsible for camper (and some staff) laundry through the summer. Our Assistant Counselors will collect laundry from our campers and deliver it to our laundry facility. The laundry person will be scheduled to complete laundry the day after laundry has been dropped off. Clean laundry just needs to be ready for pick up by 6pm that day. Our past employees for this position typically show up around 7 or 8am and are finished around noon or early afternoon. Our main expectations are that the clothes are kept organized, together, and get back to the cabin they came from. Laundry bags can be heavy weighing anywhere from 20 to 50lbs.
