Ranch Hand postion
Western Colorado Mountain Elk/Hay Ranch Looking to fill full time, long term ranch hand position in beautiful Collbran Colorado. Very competitive pay based on experience with room for growth. Salary plus 3 bedroom , 2 bath home , Paid vacation after first year.
Duties include basic ranch jobs,
Spring/Summer/duties ( our busy time)
Irrigating (side roll sprinklers primarily with a little flood irrigating)
Farming
Haying
Elk Work
Fence fixing
Small Beef cattle herd
General ranch duties
Winter (Slowtime)
Feed Elk and cattle
Calving with elk and small cattle herd
Winter time ranch projects and general repair and maintenance

This is 1000% not a cowboy job. It’s a great opportunity for the right person.
Experience in Elk is in not needed. Self starter is a plus. Honest and responsible. Must have a drivers liscense. References required and a background check will be needed. Please contact us for more information .
