Social Media Manager & Content Strategist

We're seeking a creative and data-driven Social Media Manager & Content Strategist to join our growing team. You'll be responsible for developing and executing a winning social media strategy that amplifies our brand voice, builds our social following and communities, and achieves our marketing goals.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement a cohesive social media strategy for multiple city-related content websites, ensuring brand consistency across all platforms.

- Create engaging and informative content calendars, including eye-catching Carousel ads, video reels, and written posts.

- Curate, and manage all published content (images, video, written) to engage target audiences, spark conversations, and encourage social sharing.

- Monitor, listen, and respond to users in a “Social” way while cultivating and engaging our online communities.

- Craft persuasive ad copy that entices users to click through to our website(s).

- Manage and maintain our social media presence, including posting content, responding to comments and messages, and engaging with our audience.

- Analyze social media data and identify trends to optimize content performance and campaign effectiveness.

- Further grown our website and social media following through newsletters, ensuring brand consistency across all platforms.

- Stay up-to-date on the latest social media trends and best practices.

Qualifications:

-1+ years of experience in social media marketing or a related field.

-Proven track record of creating engaging social media content that drives results.

-Experience with social media advertising platforms (e.g., Facebook Business Suite) a plus.

-Excellent writing and editing skills with a strong understanding of persuasive copywriting.

-Knowledge with the ability to interpret social media data and translate insights into actionable strategies.

-Excellent communication, collaboration, and time management skills.

-Passion for social media and a deep understanding of current trends and platforms

-Experience with creating video content (e.g., Reels, Stories)

-Experience with email marketing platforms
