We are looking for a highly motivated, technically-minded super star. We need someone driven by the outdoors with a zest for living and being in the mountains of western Colorado.
Alternative Power has been installing both grid tied and off-grid solar systems on the western slope for over 25 years. Our area has an abundance of off-grid homes whose solar systems require normal maintenance, occasional upgrades, and rarely, emergency service. We're looking for a technician who is comfortable in the mountains with limited communication access - many of these off-grid homes have zero cell service or internet access (bliss!).
Many of our locations have limited access in the winter - this means that any applicant MUST be comfortable on a snowmobile.
At Alternative Power, we pride ourselves on being the best choice for off-grid solar installations and service. Customer service is a top priority and we are looking for the right person to deliver just that.
In other words, we're looking for a solar professional who:
-Is detail oriented and very organized
-A self-starter/Motivated to follow through
-Efficient with network communications
-Familiar with battery service and maintenance
-Familiar with Outback, Schneider, Enphase, and SolarEdge systems
-Familiar with generators
