RBW Inc. has been in business since 1985 and has an opening in our Grand Junction shop for a Welder Fabricator helper.
Pay will be determined depending on experience and adjusted accordingly to proof of abilities. You are paid weekly and time off is accrued at .92 hr per week up to 48 hours per year.
Employment is dependent on ability to pass a drug test.
Requirements:
Valid Drivers License and acceptable MVR.
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Must be able to communicate fluently in English, both verbal and written.
Recent welding /metal fabrication experience.
Welding Certification is highly preferred, but not mandatory.
Proficient in operating various power tools, metalworking equipment and forklift experience is helpful.
Attention to detail, organizational skills, and a willingness to help wherever possible are respected and appreciated qualities here.
Physical Requirements:
Good dexterity.
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and move about the shop.
Lift and carry items up to 75 lbs.
Must be able to safely use a ladder, be comfortable working on elevated surfaces.
Be available to work extended hours when necessary to complete projects with a deadline.
Responsibilities:
Weld/Fabricate components per client specification.
Read/understand schematics and blueprints for projects.
Verify dimensions and product specifications to determine best practice/method to fabricate specific parts using all resources.
Maintain a production schedule while making sure that all quality control standards are met while adhering to assembly safety standards.
