DESCRIPTION:
This position requires no previous tennis court construction experience. You will receive on the job training.
You’ll be:
-Responsible for following directions and supporting other employees during daily operations at the worksite to ensure completion of projects in a safe and efficient manner.
-Assisting with preparing and laying out and painting tennis courts.
-General knowledge of safe use and maintenance of construction tools.
-Helping maintain schedule and job completion.
LOCATION: Primarily Western Slope, Colorado. Travel frequently required (you’ll get work in places like Grand Junction, Aspen, Vail, Durango, Montrose, etc.).
ROLE: Tennis Court Construction Laborer
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full time / Seasonal (May - mid September). W-2 employee.
SCHEDULE:
Monday - Friday.
Weekends may apply to maintain schedule.
COMPENSATION:
$18-22 per hour.
Overtime pay.
Lodging and per diem paid
QUALIFICATIONS:
Reliable transportation
Punctual - must be dependable
Clear communication skills and remaining on task and on schedule
Must be able to lift 80+ pounds
Must be able to do repetitive movements such as lifting and bending, etc.
Attention to detail
Must be able to work in all types of weather
Operate and maintain tools and machinery
OTHER JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Working directly with the job Foreman and other laborers.
Willingness to learn and apply knowledge.
Performing daily tasks according to priorities and plans made by the job Foreman.
Must be comfortable with and able to use hand held power tools and light equipment including, but not limited to; paddle mixing drills, walk-behind diamond-bit grinders, backpack blowers, walk-behind leaf blowers, and high-pressure washers.
Maintain a professional work environment at all times on or off the clock while representing the company.

Athletic Court Surfaces, LLC is a family owned, growing sports surfacing company and is the primary Tennis Court resurfacing and crack filling company located on the Western Slope. Our team works with our clients to design and install outdoor athletic spaces.
