Description:Markets and Risk group is seeking a Junior Inspector to join our Energy Efficiency Program Inspections team. This team assists energy utilities in CT, NH, MA, and RI with Energy Efficiency measure inspections at various commercial, small business, and multifamily facilities to promote reduced energy bills, decarbonization, and reduced reliance on fossil fuels. The purpose of these inspections are to verify that reported Energy Efficiency Measure and savings parameters are accurate. We are looking for someone who is able to recognize different energy efficiency technologies, can identify differences in proposed and installed/existing equipment, and has good communications and technical writing skills. The typical types of measures this position will be inspecting include, but are not limited to; lighting, insulation, window replacement, HVAC. What You’ll Do Review inspection project documentation to ensure all information needed is present. Conduct on site energy efficiency (EE) measure inspections verifying all parameters that affect project savings and eligibility. Write clearly written inspection report describing verification methods and detailed discrepancies.
