We are seeking an Embedded Systems Expert with deep expertise in DO-178C and avionics software development to lead the architecture and execution of safety-critical airborne systems.The ideal candidate will be capable of architecting a system from concept through certification, with extensive experience in Real-Time Embedded Systems (RTES) and Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) environments. This individual will provide technical leadership across the entire product lifecycle, including requirements development, architecture, implementation, integration, verification, validation, and certification.Location: The role can be onsite (CT), hybrid, or fully remote.ResponsibilitiesArchitect end-to-end avionics software systems from concept through certification.Collaborate across systems, hardware, software, verification, and certification teams.Lead development of safety-critical embedded software in compliance with DO-178C.Support certification audits and regulatory compliance activities.Support definition and allocation of system-level and software requirements.Design and implement solutions for RTES and RTOS-based platforms.Conduct architecture reviews, technical assessments, and trade studies.Drive requirements traceability, verification planning, and validation activities.Mentor engineering teams and provide technical leadership.
