This is a highly visible, key role within the Company. The Capabilities for Success in this role include the following:

Business acumen – creating, positioning, negotiating commercial arrangements and delivering a competitive advantage.

Strategic leadership in developing and nurturing strong working ties with site leadership and operations teams.

Strong negotiation skills-Experience managing and negotiating contracts to meet business needs and objectives.

Work closely with Chemours plant sites to resolve supply issues and implement procurement strategies.

Conduct spend & data analytics to achieve optimal TCO, reviews market intelligence, evaluates benchmarks and best practices to drive continuous improvement across supplier base.

Supplier Relationship Management

Negotiate contracts and purchase order terms and conditions with the inclusion of Legal, Risk Management, Business leadership and Finance, as required.

Good analytical and quantitative skills

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

Global Category Leader MRO Equipment & Materials Supply Chain Contracts.

Proactively engage and manage site/BU leadership expectations, and effectively optimize Indirect Procurement spend while securing timely supply.

Foster strong cross-functional engagement and working partnerships at each site to enable strategic planning and forecasting.

Create and meet strategic goals and objectives.

The following is required for this role:

2 years of MRO buy experience or global sourcing required.

Experience with strategic sourcing processes.

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting or Engineering is required.

Strong people management and persuasion skills to manage and influence at all levels of the company.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, teamwork and collaboration skills.

Wave Warrior-extensive experience using Wave or similar cost reduction reporting tool with demonstrated experience delivering YOY/Cost Avoidance savings initiative(s) > $1M.

Adaptability, Patience and Conflict resolution mindset.

The following is preferred for this role:

5 years of MRO buy experience preferred.

5+ years’ Procurement experience as a buyer in the Indirect Procurement buy space.

Self-motivated and able to work with minimal oversight.

Implementing and transitioning MRO/OEM equipment & materials to e-catalogue systems such as Coupa, IBuy, Vroozi or SRM.

Six Sigma Greenbelt+ Certification.

Data analytics experience.

Experience with category management & category playbooks.
