Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Setting up and operating power shear to cut metal objects to specified dimensions and angles.
- Reading and analyzing blueprints and operating computerized fabrication equipment, such as shears, saws and presses.
- Measuring, marking, cutting, bending, shaping, fitting, and permanently joining sheets of metal together using tools like shears, press brakes, welding equipment, and computer-aided machines.
- Changing equipment over to new products.
- Using hand or power tools and precision measuring tools and equipment.
- Loading or unloading material or work piece into machinery.
- Maintaining or repairing industrial or related equipment.
- Setting up operations and measurements of material and machinery.
