Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Bookkeeper in Middletown, Connecticut, United States. As a Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in managing financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts and payments. Your work will involve ensuring that all transactions are recorded accurately and promptly. Responsibilities: Handle the gathering and sorting of financial documents and related information. Verify the accuracy of transactions and ensure they are correctly recorded. Manage the process of preparing and authorizing payments. Take responsibility for preparing and scanning invoices. Monitor and record all incoming payments from customers. Follow up on unpaid invoices and late payments. Reconcile customer accounts and resolve any discrepancies. Use QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel for data entry and account reconciliation. Handle the monthly end close process.
