Our direct client, located in Milford, CT is seeking an

IT Technician for immediate hire. Our client is a family-oriented and employee-led business with a successful multistate real estate closing practice. With nearly two decades of experience, they provide exceptional real estate closing services to their dedicated portfolio of clients, who have trusted them with their business for many years. The ideal candidate would have 2+ years of experience in the Information Technology field. The position is open to candidates who are detail oriented, organized and can demonstrate the ability to work quickly, accurately and under pressure. Candidates must be capable of multitasking while maintaining precise attention to details. This is a full-time, non-exempt, 40 hour position in the Milford, CT office. This position reports directly to the Chief Technology Officer. In this role, you will be responsible for:
• Receiving and processing all help desk requests for current employees;
• Identifying issues that need expert support and escalate to internal or external resources;
• Supporting and maintaining hardware, software and network equipment as necessary;
• Managing new hire setups, including ordering and configuration of equipment;
• Acting as point of contact for outside IT, office equipment, and other experts;
• Participating in demonstration, testing, configuration, and training of new technology;
• Being present for new hire orientations to support training group with technology issues;
• Identifying opportunities to improve, automate, or simplify processes or systems;
• Other administrative tasks and projects as assigned. Requirements include:
• Minimum 2 years of experience in IT, preferably in a help desk or desktop support environment;
• Working knowledge of common hardware and popular operating systems;
• Ability to effectively communicate with employees about technology who have a wide range of technical skills;
• Genuine eagerness to train and learn about new technology and systems;
• Platinum level Customer Service Skills;
• A willingness to embrace our unique and wonderful culture of commitment and open communication. Nice To Have:
