DescriptionProject Manager engagement. New Haven pharmaceutical company needs a project manager well versed with drug development research expenses. This includes tracking and projecting expenses, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and evaluating progress. Five years experience required, MBA preferred.Requirements
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance & Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
Proven success acting in a project management capacity
Understanding of business and technical requirements analysis, documentation, modeling and testing methodologies & development
Candidates with a Project Management and/or Business Systems Analyst Certification are preferred
Keep in touch with executive management, team members, business and technology professionals via both written and oral methods
Command of budgeting
Expense Variance Analysis experience highly desired
Proficiency in budget forecasting
Foundational knowledge in Financial Forecast
Solid understanding of project management
5+ years of prior relevant experience- Comfortable working in a variety of project management software like Microsoft Project, SmartSheet or other similar applications
Able to analyze complex business problems, propose effective solutions and understand and apply business vision and direction
