Start up, well funded with solid experience in digital ad agency operations and success. We are now seeking a General Manager to lead our team and drive the growth of our agency. We will work with a diverse range of small business clients offering them a board spectrum of digital strategies and assets. This is a HANDS ON WORKING POSITION and excellent ground floor opportunity. You will be working hand in hand with the Senior Partners in the firm.
The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the agency, leading strategic initiatives, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to our clients. This role requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in digital marketing, understanding of video production, content creation, leadership, and business development.
Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a multidisciplinary team, including account managers, creatives, strategists, and analysts, ensuring they have the resources and support needed to excel in their roles.
Strategic Planning: Develop and execute the agency’s strategic plan, aligning it with overall business goals, market trends, and client needs.
Business Development: Execute the Company Business plan, including client acquisition, partnerships, and expansion into new markets or service offerings.
Financial Oversight: Manage the agency’s budget, including general bookkeeping, financial reporting, and direct communication with our Account.
Campaign Oversight: Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of Our Company's digital marketing campaigns, ensuring they meet our objectives and deliver measurable results.
Innovation & Trends: Stay updated on the latest digital marketing trends, tools, and technologies, and implement innovative strategies to keep the agency at the forefront of the industry.
Performance Monitoring: Establish KPIs and performance metrics for the team and the agency as a whole, regularly reviewing and adjusting strategies to ensure continued success.
Culture & Environment: Foster a positive and collaborative workplace culture that encourages creativity, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in digital marketing, SEO, YouTube Channels, virtual phone systems, CRM systems, management or leadership role, ideally within an ad agency.
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and inspire a team, with strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style.
Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic planning skills, with a track record of developing and executing successful business strategies.
Digital Expertise: Deep knowledge of digital marketing channels, tools, and best practices, including SEO, SEM, social media, content marketing, and analytics.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to clients and team members.
Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapt to change and with a proactive problem-solving mindset.
