LEAD PORTER position available.
V20 Group, a vertically integrated, real estate investment firm seeks an experienced Lead Porter for a brand new, state of the art, mixed-use residential/commercial facility in Darien, CT.
This is an incredible opportunity for an experienced porter to work for a growing real estate firm here in lower Fairfield, Connecticut.
Key responsibilities include:
General upkeep: Garbage removal, cleaning, painting, and ensuring the overall tidiness and safety of the property.
Troubleshooting: Identifying and diagnosing problems with equipment or buildings.
Repairs: Fixing broken items, such as furniture, doors, windows, and appliances.
Maintenance: Performing routine tasks like changing light bulbs, fixing leaky faucets, and addressing minor plumbing or electrical issues.
Skills and Qualifications:
Problem-solving: Ability to identify issues, assess situations, and find solutions.
Physical stamina: Porters often need to be able to lift heavy objects and work in various positions.
Customer service: Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential for interacting with clients.
Organization and time management: Managing multiple tasks and prioritizing work effectively.
Safety consciousness: Following safety procedures and using appropriate safety equipment.
Bi-lingual Spanish is required.
The position offers a salary of $23 per hour with overtime available with medical benefits starting day one.
We require, at least, five years of verifiable work experience in the same position and a valid driver's license.
