V20 Group is hiring for a Lead Porter position here in Darien, CT.
The position is 40 hours per week at $22 per hour (OT as needed) plus company paid health benefits (Aetna).
Heights Crossing is a brand new complex with 65 residential units and 9 commercial spaces.
It is an excellent opportunity for someone to come in on the ground floor of growing company and to work/learn under experienced leadership.
Porter Job Responsibilities:
Maintains cleanliness of public and work areas throughout the day, practicing clean-as-you-go procedures.
Set up, stocks, and maintains work areas.
Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned station and service areas.
Transport trash to correct areas.
Assist other departments when needed to ensure optimum service to guests.
Assist with move-ins and move-outs.
Porter Qualifications / Skills:
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
Highly responsible & reliable
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
Ability to focus attention on tenant needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
Spanish speaking preferred
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
Previous porter experience
Valid driver’s license
Familiar with cleaning equipment such as carpet cleaning machines, power tools, vacuums, etc.
Familiarity with Radio Frequency (RF) equipment preferred
