Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for a Data Entry Coordinator in NORWALK, Connecticut. You will be joining our team in the chemical distribution industry where you will play a crucial role in maintaining our certifications and compliance with various regulations and standards. As a Data Entry Coordinator, you will also be providing necessary assistance and documentation to our sales team in relation to regulatory aspects.Responsibilities: Assist in maintaining certifications for ISO, BRC, and other governmental requirements. Research, interpret, and summarize relevant regulations and guidance documents. Keep updated with regulatory news and provide summaries as needed. Review and ensure accuracy of SDSs, Labels, CoAs, and Specs. Support the sales team by providing necessary documentation in reference to regulatory aspects. Assist in the creation of Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions for regulatory functions. Maintain orderly and current files. Help in submitting Regulatory reports to agencies. Identify and assist in implementing process improvement initiatives. Perform other duties related to the role as assigned. Requirements Applicant must possess strong Customer Service skills, demonstrating the ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders. Proficiency in Data Entry is required, with a focus on accuracy and speed. Strong Computer Skills are necessary, including proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and data management software. Experience in coordinating and managing large amounts of data, ensuring its accuracy and integrity. Ability to multitask and manage time effectively, prioritizing tasks according to business needs. Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills. Familiarity with office equipment such as photocopiers, scanners, and fax machines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Must demonstrate problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree in a related field is preferable. Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable.
