WIN Waste Innovations is a vertically integrated business with a platform of 50 strategically located collection, transfer, and disposal assets. These include waste-to-energy facilities, transfer stations, ash monofills, landfills, and fleets of rail cars and collection vehicles. We process more than 11 million tons of waste annually, converting 6.7 million tons of waste into clean, renewable energy that powers 340,000 homes. We recycle more than 234,000 tons of plastic, paper, and metals from the waste stream. Our WIN Waste Innovations facility is currently seeking a Service Writer. Responsibilities: Assures the availability of parts in a cost-effective manner. Maintains records concerning inventory levels, preventive maintenance schedules, and corrective maintenance performed on all units. Inputs information into the computerized fleet analysis system (TMW) daily. Maintains relationships with vendors. Prepares purchase orders for management approval. Receives, tags, stocks and dispenses parts to mechanics according to Corporate and Regional policy and local operating procedures. Reviews purchase orders with accounting to assist in proper payment of invoices. Produces various productivity and usage reports for management review. Follows all safety policies and procedures. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Prepare and assign work orders to technicians Education: Equivalent of high school diploma or G.E.D. certification and one year of general office experience or equivalent training. Representative Machines, Tools, Equipment and/or Software Used: Office equipment including, but not limited to, telephone, fax, copier, calculator, and computer.
