General Production Worker

Job DescriptionWe are seeking motivated individuals to join our team as coating operators. In this role, you will be responsible for operating machinery, handling adhesive products, and ensuring the production of high-quality goods in accordance with established standards.Responsibilities

Load jumbo rolls onto the unwind and adjust machine components for specific products.

Slit and rewind continuous strips of adhesive product onto cores.

Obtain work orders from the supervisor and label products and cartons as required.

Pack products into or onto the correct corrugate packaging.

Ensure timely production of quality products in accordance with established standards.

Perform operations in compliance with ISO procedures.

Acquire materials specified in the work order BOM and load jumbo onto the unwind.

Set up specified equipment for the product being manufactured.

Conduct safety checks and inspections prior to startup.

Document all required information following established inventory procedures.

Oversee proper documentation for the work cell.

Efficiently produce all types of adhesive products and inspect finished products for defects.

Perform minor maintenance duties and repairs as required.

Maintain cell and general department housekeeping.

Promote teamwork within the department.

Essential Skills

Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a diverse manufacturing environment.

At least 6 months of operating experience or strong mechanical skills.

Basic mathematical skills with proficiency in fractions.

Comfortable standing for long periods and able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Strong attention to detail.

SD (static dissipative) safety shoes required, especially in the coating department.

Flexibility to move to a Tuesday-Friday schedule if needed.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Previous experience as an extrusion operator is a plus.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Good attitude and reliable attendance are crucial.
