DescriptionAmazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for a world class AMER Data Partner Development Specialist (PDS) to grow the AWS Data (database & analytics services) business through consulting (SI/GSI) partners in North America. AWS has initiated a journey to enhance our partner experience and foster closer alignment AWS. This role is pivotal in empowering partner to drive momentum when engaging with our shared customers. Your responsibility will be to develop and implement go-to-market strategies empowering AWS partners to build solutions, offerings, and new capabilities tailored to their customers’ needs. This is a very exciting opportunity to work on the forefront of this dynamic field alongside some of the most innovative companies in the world.Key job responsibilitiesKey job responsibilities Execute GTM strategy to grow AWS Data business through consulting partners and technology partners in North America. Support partners across different stages of their development including practice development, offering/solution development, enablement, and leveraging AWS programs. Drive partner revenue through regular pipeline, opportunity registration, and business reviews with partners to exceed annual goals. Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, solutions architecture, product management, and other teams to deliver exceptional customer outcomes Serve as an AWS database and analytics services subject matter expert who advocates for AWS partner capabilities internally and externally.A day in the lifeActivities include building and executing joint get-to-market and go-to-market plans, educating partners on our services, helping partners innovate with our services, and unblocking challenges that our partners face in realizing business growth. You will be responsible for driving top line revenue growth and overall market adoption of partner solutions and capabilities. You will also serve as a data subject matter expert aligned to support partner management and partner sales teams.The ideal candidate will have experience driving successful partnership initiatives at scale as well as a sales or business development background with demonstrated experience driving GTM motions. The ideal candidate possesses a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges and a strong ability to dive deep into data to uncover business opportunities. Working knowledge of and experience in the database and analytics services is required. 7+ years of business development, sales, or alliance management experience in the software/technology industry

4+ years of experience selling database and analytics related services or products.

5+ years demonstrated ability to exceed sales, business development, or alliance management goals against annual growth targets for technical products

5+ years demonstrated experience working and communicating with multiple stakeholders and driving strategic plans across various teams including solution architecture, product management, partner management, and account management teams

5+ years demonstrated experience defining business goals and developing and executing go-to-market plans that exceed goals.

Preferred Qualifications

10+ years of sales, business development, or alliance management experience in the software/technology industry

6+ years selling database or analytics solutions with partners

BS or MS degree in technical field
