The Associate, Finance & Accounting is an entry-level role responsible for the internal day-to-day financial operations of the organization, with an emphasis on process management. This position acts as a fiscal gatekeeper and exercises utmost attention to detail to ensure sound fiscal health. The right candidate should possess: 1) superb detail orientation, 2) a strong work ethic, 3) responsive and collaborative communication skills, and 4) the ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced work environment. Essential Duties Provide administrative and project coordination support by scheduling meetings, tracking timelines, monitoring action items, and maintaining project materials. Maintain accurate financial records and assist with account reconciliations, financial reporting, and audit preparation. Process accounts payable transactions, including invoices, expense reimbursements, vendor payments, and supporting documentation. Support the financial administration of grant-funded projects by tracking expenditures, organizing documentation, and maintaining project records. Assist program staff with financial and administrative activities to help ensure expenses are properly documented and compliant with grant and organizational requirements. Organize and maintain financial, vendor, and project files while ensuring records are complete, accurate, and readily accessible. Respond to routine inquiries from staff, vendors, and external partners and provide general administrative support to the Finance team.
