This OpportunityWSP is currently initiating a search for a Full-Time Associate Management Consultant for our Washington, DC office for an August 2025 start. We offer our clients a unique combination of infrastructure expertise and management consulting leadership to help them determine how best to develop assets and cost-effectively deliver services.The Associate Management Consultant must be passionate about the strategic development and management of infrastructure across all sectors: Transportation, Water, Buildings, Energy and Environment. Consultants work on projects for public and private sector clients across a range of topics including funding and finance, organizational design, alternative delivery, economic analysis, research and innovation, data analysis, financial modeling, policy development, asset management, and more.Your Impact

Analyze needs and opportunities.

Research industry trends.

Evaluate alternatives and priorities.

Develop the business case for infrastructure investments.

Write reports and grant applications.

Support client meetings and workshops.

Analyze project and program funding and financing options.

Review and interpreting federal legislation and guidance.

Perform quantitative analyses and data analytics.

Develop financial models.

Provide strategic support in all phases of infrastructure planning and project development.

Complete training on assigned tasks.

Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.

Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.

Who You AreRequired Qualifications

In recognition of the full strategic suite of services offered by Advisory Services, the following degree requirements apply: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Data Sciences, Business, Economics, Finance, Urban or Transportation Planning, Environmental Studies, Liberal Arts, Public Policy, Operations Research, or closely related discipline.

1 to 3 years of relevant post education experience in discipline and in a management consulting or client advisory capacity.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Strong analytical and quantitative skills.

Demonstrated research skills and experience.

Ability to think creatively, work independently, and deliver high quality work with minimal supervision.

Ability to work in a team environment, synthesize problems, and communicate point of view and analytical results.

Interest or experience in the infrastructure industry and related sectors.

Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.

Ability to work schedules conducive to project-specific requirements that may extend beyond the typical workweek.

Occasional travel may be required depending on project-specific requirements.

The selected candidate must have the ability to work in the United States immediately.

Preferred Qualifications:

Advanced degree in business, economics, urban or transportation planning, civil engineering, public policy, or related field.
