RightStar, powered by XTIVIA, has an immediate opening for an Atlassian Jira-Confluence Administrator/Developer for the Executive Office of the President (EOP). This is an on-site position at the new executive office building which is near the White House.

Tasks will include:

  • the maintenance of EOP’s current Jira and Confluence instances
  • development of new applications and workflows
  • supporting phased migration to other platforms including ServiceNow
  • providing production support services to support planned updates and unplanned outages

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Business, Engineering, Technology or related field desirable.
  • Ability to automate and extend base Jira/Confluence functionality, including scripting.
  • Implementation and customization of Atlassian plugins.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with Atlassian or other DevOps toolsets.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
  • The position requires a minimum of a Top-Secret (TS) clearance and then we'll start you on the process for the Presidential Support Duty clearance which may take three to four weeks to achieve.
  • ITIL Foundation v3/v4 certified (desirable).

This position provides quality customer technology support to the President, Vice President, First Family, and the 7,000 Executive Office of President (EOP) customers on the White House Complex, Air Force One, Air Force Two, and Marine One.
