Contract Review Counsel will support communications with clients and vendors regarding proposed changes to same. Contract Review Counsel will provide support for the firm’s compliance with contract terms. Contract Review Counsel will contribute to additional special projects as identified by the firm’s Office of General Counsel.This position can be filled as fully remote or hybrid from any of our US offices.Job ResponsibilitiesReview outside counsel guidelines received from new and existing firm clients to identify possible compliance issues and recommend modifications to same.Review contracts received from firm vendors or other non-client entities to identify possible compliance issues and recommend modifications to same.Interact with internal subject matter experts and partners regarding special outside counsel guideline or contract provisions, as necessary.Draft firm’s written communications with clients and vendors setting forth proposed exceptions to outside counsel guidelines and vendor contracts.As needed, participate in dialogue (written or oral) with clients and vendors to achieve mutually agreeable alternative terms and conditions.Oversee collection of executed outside counsel guidelines and vendor contracts and monitor firm’s retention and filing of same.Contribute to similar risk management type projects as identified by the firm’s General Counsel on an as needed basis.
