Job DescriptionMindPoint Group is seeking a Deputy Program Manager for an exciting opportunity in Washington, D.C., for one of our Legislative Branch clients.What you get to do every day:

Assist the program manager with planning, organizing, and executing all aspects of a cybersecurity services program to ensure the delivery of timely & quality services to the client.

Assist with major assigned key program activities, including scope, schedule, cost, technical, and staffing performance.

Formulate & enforce work standards, assign staff work schedules, and review & resolve work discrepancies.

Ensure timely, complete, high-quality contract deliverables to the client.

Develop metrics dashboards to make program status & performance visible to the client.

Interface with the client-s senior management personnel, including CIO, DCIO & CISO briefings.

Be a positive change agent within & outside the organization, and propagate our corporate culture throughout the program.

Lead risk management activities to include identification & recommended mitigations and track risk issues through closure.

Build, grow & develop high-performing teams aligned with the customer-s mission & strategy.

Assist in managing program personnel, including interviewing, hiring, performance evaluations, compensation, training & development.

Guide & mentor lower-level managers, team leads & staff.

Must be able to work in a dynamic environment & adapt to changing conditions.

Must possess a high degree of originality, creativity & initiative requiring minimal supervision.

QualificationsUS Citizenship, Public Trust eligibility requiredWhat skills are required?

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field. A bachelor's degree may be substituted with an additional eight years of relevant functional experience.

Minimum eight years of general work experience and six years of relevant functional expertise.

Strong leadership, analytic, problem-solving, and written & verbal communication are required.

Ability to maintain flexibility & shift priorities as a result of operational tasks.

Strong experience w/Microsoft Office, other program & project management tools is required.

PMP Certification is required.

What is ideal?

MS Degree preferred

Cybersecurity experience preferred

Certifications

Other relevant IT certifications are a plus

Location:

This is a hybrid role with expectations of being on the client site a few days a week.

Compensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position. The salary range for this position is typically $155k-$165k. However, this does not guarantee a specific salary, as compensation is based upon multiple factors such as education, experience, certifications, and other requirements and may fall outside of the above-stated range.
