BryceTech is looking for an experienced Deputy Program Manager to lead a multidisciplinary team supporting the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment (OUSD(A&S)). The PM will provide leadership, strategic direction, and oversee administrative, analytical, and strategic communications efforts across OUSD(A&S) divisions, ensure high-quality service delivery, manage staff, and serve as the primary point of contact for contract execution and client engagement in a fast-paced environment.Customer Background Information: The Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment (OUSD(A&S)) serves as the principal advisor to the Secretary and Deputy Secretary of Defense on all matters related to acquisition, sustainment, logistics, industrial policy, and defense procurement across the Department of Defense (DoD). OUSD(A&S) is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing policies that enable the delivery of defense capabilities effectively, efficiently, and affordably in support of national security objectives.OUSD(A&S) leads initiatives to modernize acquisition processes, strengthen the defense industrial base, promote innovation, and ensure the lifecycle sustainment of military systems. The office also provides oversight of key areas including supply chain resilience, operational energy, environmental and safety compliance, and materiel readiness to maintain military effectiveness and global competitiveness.Minimum Knowledge and Description of the work:Provide assistance to the Program Manager (PM) for overall customer communication, contract management, and resource management.Provide guidance and assistance to PM for all OUSD (A&S) communication, resolving issues, providing technical guidance and ensuring high-quality contract performance.Lead, supervise, and manage a large multi-organizational team providing administrative, clerical, analytical, and strategic communication services to OUSD(A&S) organizations.Ensure the accuracy, timeliness, and completion of all deliverables and requirements under the contract.Provide strategic leadership and vision to ensure alignment with OUSD(A&S) priorities, policies, and evolving needs.Oversee resource allocation, staffing, training, and professional development to maintain mission readiness and staff proficiency.Monitor contract milestones, risks, and deliverables; prepare and submit required reports, including monthly and quarterly status updates.Communicate changes in OUSD(A&S) policies and business practices to ensure team-wide compliance and adaptability.Manage personnel turnover to ensure continuity of operations and seamless onboarding/training of new hires.Represent the program at internal and external meetings, briefings, and reviews, ensuring proactive stakeholder communication.
