In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring a phenomenal experience for relocating employees, stakeholders and crafting the future of GRI at Uber.The Global Relocation & Immigration Program Manager will report directly to the Head of Global Relocation & Immigration and will sit on the GRI leadership team alongside global program managers for Immigration, Relocation and Tax. You will partner closely with key global and regional stakeholders across Talent Acquisition and People & Places as well as business leaders and Uber's external GRI vendor partners.What You'll Do

Partner with the Head of Global Relocation & Immigration (GRI) and GRI leadership team to design and implement global mobility services to support Uber's international talent needs.

Define, implement and oversee service delivery of the GRI program prioritizing stakeholder experience, efficiency and compliance

Lead the GRI support provided to relocating Executives. You will be the main point of contact and will engage directly with the internal executive population and external vendors to ensure a positive experience

You will be the escalation point for operational matters that cannot be address by GRI business partners and will be responsible for identifying appropriate, scalable solutions and ensuring findings are incorporated for continuous program improvement

Lead a team of GRI business partners. Coach, counsel and develop team members to position them for success

Together with Uber immigration specialists, serve as a contact for US immigration inquiries.

Design, implement and maintain GRIs content strategy across HR shared services, Uber team members, vendors and relocating employees ensuring it is accurate and effective

Continuously review metrics to assess the efficiency of GRI operations across the full mobility ecosystem and employee lifecycle (incorporating Shared Services, GRI and vendors) across dimensions such as speed, efficiency and quality, to continuously improve the program

Develop and maintain strong working relationships with global Talent Acquisition and People & Places teams to strategically position GRI services as a key enabler to achieving their international talent priorities. Ensure feedback is shared with full GRI leadership team to support the continuous development of the GRI program

Basic Qualifications

5+ years of professional experience

Bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of mobility immigration (US specific), relocation and tax considerations for globally mobile employees

Experience managing global mobility operations in a highly outsourced environment, leveraging HR shared services

Experience managing and coaching a high performing team

Experience in program design, development, measures of success and continuous improvement

Passionate about customer/client success with a track record to prove it

For Chicago, IL-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$120,000 per year - USD$133,500 per year. For Dallas, TX-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$120,000 per year - USD$133,500 per year. For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$133,000 per year - USD$148,000 per year. For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$133,000 per year - USD$148,000 per year. For Seattle, WA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$120,000 per year - USD$133,500 per year. For Washington, DC-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$133,000 per year - USD$148,000 per year. For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
