Position DescriptionLooking for a professional role at a place you can have influence every day? In the Logistics role, you will be a part of a dynamic team located in Washington, DC. This position has countless opportunities to learn about contracting and providing logistical fleet support.In this position, you will:

Provide technical support covering a wide variety of Team Submarine logistics issues, including overall supply chain for parts in weapons system support.

Assist in the development of logistics support plans (LCSP, SPB, etc.) and logistics considerations in program planning and documentation.

Demonstrate ability to be a team player; works well with others; contributes positively to work/team environment while continually seeks ways to enhance contribution to the team.

Support Configuration Management (CM) Program audits, supportability assessment reviews, technical reviews, and evaluate documentation for impacts to logistics and life-cycle logistics support.

Monitor, document, and track Configuration Status Accounting (CSA) and logistics in-service submarine platforms metrics, processes, and procedures.

Participate and support Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) and Obsolescence Management IPTs/WGs.

Provide Logistics review and analysis of change proposals, design improvement proposals, drawing changes, technical manual development, and lifecycle supportability/sustainment considerations.

Provide review and analysis of risk mitigation issues with respect to new design proposals resulting from Reduction of Total Ownership Cost initiatives.

Coordinate with in-service submarine platform key product support providers to identify, track and resolve CM and ILS product deficiencies.

Coordinate ILS meetings, record meeting minutes, provide logistical support, brief, and track action items/milestones.

Assess and provide quality assurance feedback on all ILS documentation, draft instructions, and product deliverables.

QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you must have:

A current or active DoD Secret clearance.

A Bachelor's degree in any discipline or equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree.

Eight to ten years professional experience.

Strong computer and analytical skills

Effective communication skills, both written and oral

The ability to travel 10% of the time.

Highly desired experience and skills:

Support the Reliability Control Board (RCB), Sustainment IPT, Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) workshops and provisioning conferences.

Support of HM&E/NPES systems, subsystems, equipment, and component change-out integrated product support elements/integrated logistics support (ILS) elements product update/development/ILS certification.

Provide Logistics review and analysis of change proposals, design improvement proposals, drawing changes, technical manual development, and lifecycle supportability/sustainment considerations.

Provide review and analysis of risk mitigation issues with respect to new design proposals resulting from Reduction of Total Ownership Cost initiatives.

Review and assess programmatic documents including (but not limited to) Statements of Work (SOW), Contract Data Requirement Lists (CDRLs), Bills of Material (BOMs), Analysis of Alternatives (AoA), Class Maintenance Plan (CMP), Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability Plan (RAMP), Life Cycle Support Plan (LCSP), Sustainment Program Baselines (SPB), etc.

Conduct analyses of HM&E/NPES subsystem development plans, cost proposals, Logistics, and other technical documentation.
