You will use your expertise specifically in Navy Deterrence to build on the history and success of this unique portfolio by identifying or creating new sources of value for our nation, allies, and partners.Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Proactive engagement with customers, industry partners, and program leadership to identify, qualify, and shape new business opportunities for growth in core and adjacent markets. Build and maintain customer relationships as an on-site liaison to oversee project coordination and strategic program management. Creating customer contact plan that drives long range growth pipeline business. Provide clear feedback loops with a partner-first, OneLM mindset. Driving and supporting the development of business cases in support of individual opportunities, to ensure new business meets financial targets. Support development and execution of Keep Sold plans for ongoing programs. Collaborating with other functionals within Lockheed Martin e.g. LMGA, Communications, Engineering & Technology, Finance, Contracts, LMUK, Legal, Program Management to ensure the accomplishment of opportunity- and strategy-related milestones. Foster the integration & collaboration across Space and/or Lockheed Martin Business Areas in adjacent missions areas. Researching and organizing competitive intelligence, including organizing and participating in Black Hat competitive assessments, and leading or supporting position-to-win (PTW) efforts. Participating in, and often leading, proposal development efforts in support of capturing new business; includes writing or contributing to sources sought responses, proposal volumes and participating in proposal-related milestones and color teamsBasic Qualifications: Experience coordinating between customer requirements/needs and technology organizations Experience in one or more of the following areas: program management, capture management, business development, and/or project management Interim Top Secret clearance required prior to start. Must be able to obtain a Top Secret clearance.Desired Skills: Demonstrated ability to form and maintain successful relationships with program and customer leadership Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field (e.g. engineering, mathematics, physics, computer science) or a Bachelor's degree or higher with extensive operational experience/military strategy development.
