Washington, DC, USA | Full Time SGI Global LLC is seeking a Project Manager to support the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD) Chemical Preparedness (ChemPREP) Program. Job Duties:
Responsible for all Contractor work performed under this contract.
Serve as the single point of contact for the Contracting Officer and the COR.
Meet with the client on a bi-weekly basis to discuss progress, exchange information and resolve emergent technical problems and issues.
Provide a monthly progress report to the client.
Shall ensure Contractor employees understand and abide by Department of Homeland Security established rules, regulations and policies concerning safety and security.
Qualifications:
Project Management Professional (PMP certification) plus 10 years experience managing complex projects incorporating multiple virtual teams across multiple locations throughout the country.
10 (ten) years experience working in or with State, Local, Tribal, or Territorial (SLTT) responder agencies (e.g., fire/hazmat, EMS, LE, health care, public health, or Emergency Management).
5 (five) years' experience working with response organizations (federal or state) to identify threats, assess capabilities, analyze capability gaps, recommend solutions.
5 (five) years' experience applying HSEEP principles or managing an HSEEP exercise program.
