Through your leadership, your team will make a real impact every day.We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Retail Manager 2 for a high profile government agency located in Washington, DC on Capitol Hill. The Retail Manager will oversee the retail operationsof Rayburn Cafeteria.The successful candidate will:

motivate, coach, mentor and develop frontline staff.

provide stellarcustomer service.

ensure company food and physical safety programs and standards are followed.

conduct retail brand standard audits.

direct daily operations of food quality & customer service in a retail food operation that may include branded concepts ensuring that employees have appropriate equipment, supplies and resources

manage the opening and closing the operation as well daily retail food service operations.

manage cash handling protocols & control procedures according to Sodexo policies.

maintain all product merchandising, marketing, and ordering standards are in place.

Directs the work of hourly & supervisory food service workers.Key Duties

Ensures there is a zero harm mindset for ourselves, our customers, our food & employees.

Directs daily operations of food quality & customer service in a retail food operation that may include branded concepts ensuring that employees have appropriate equipment, supplies and resources.

Manages cash handling protocols & control procedures according to Sodexo policies.

Maintains client satisfaction for food quality & customer service.

Accountable for the execution of service quality by maintaining the highest level of delivery.

Supervises day-to-day work activities of food service workers.
