ManTech is seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable Senior Cloud Engineer that is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a hybrid cloud environment that will satisfy the client’s operational mission needs. This position is located onsite in Washington D.C.Responsibilities:
Develop strategies for cloud-based platforms (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) that will maximize the program’s operations and enhance efficiency using hybrid cloud (AWS, Azure, and Oracle clouds). Translate business needs into long-term cloud architecture solutions.
Guide cloud development practices to optimize resources, govern cloud spending, and reduce inefficiency and waste in cloud migrations and operations.
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and patch virtual switches, etc. in the cloud layer.
Enable the CI/CD and DevSecOps platforms in a cloud environment.
Enable low code/no code and infrastructure as code (IaC) platforms in a cloud environment for the program.
Lead the design, development, and management of the underlying cloud infrastructure, such as virtual machines, storage, and networking components using hybrid cloud (AWS, Azure, and Oracle clouds).
Lead engineer to facilitate the program’s development and deployment of cloud-native applications, ensuring optimal performance, scalability and security.
Ensure NIST compliant security measures and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations in the cloud environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related discipline.
Fifteen or more (15+) years of IT experience with twelve or more (12+) years of cloud experience.
Two or more (2+) years’ experience working in a program using Agile (SAFe, Scrum and Kanban) and DevSecOps methods.
Possess Azure Solutions Architect certification AND possess an AWS Certified Solutions Architect certificate.
Extensive hands-on experience with Azure and AWS cloud services.
Experience with Azure DevOps platform / tools and Azure network and security tools and services.
Experience using AWS IaaS and platform services to include security and network services.
Experience in automation and server-less solution architecting development.
Strong cloud migration and data management skills with an emphasis on security.
Preferred Qualifications:
Preferred experience working with Oracle cloud solutions such as Apex.
Security Clearance Requirements:
Must have a Current/Active Top Secret Security Clearance prior to start.
