Job Description:

GDIT is seeking a Data Analyst to join our team.

Contract requires ship and an Top Secret security clearance and DHS suitability.

Job Responsibilities

  • The successful candidate will manipulate data and data flows for both existing and new systems.
  • Additionally they will provide support in the areas of data extraction, transformation and load (ETL), data mapping, data extraction, analytical support, operational support, database support, and maintenance support of data and associated systems.
  • As a member of the team, candidates will work in a multi-tasking, quick-paced, dynamic, process-improvement environment that requires experience with the principles of large-scale (terabytes) database development, large-scale file manipulation, data modeling, data mapping, data testing, data quality, and documentation preparation.

Qualifications:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Implementation of system additions and/or enhancements
  • Implements upgrades of software and related systems and enhancements
  • Develops documentation on new or existing systems
  • Develops tests to ensure systems meet documented user requirements
  • Identifies, analyzes, and resolves system problems
  • Implements system enhancements within specifications and working parameters
  • Participates in meetings to ensure client needs are met
  • Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned .
  • Participates in special projects as required Analyzes customer requirements and provides technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems. Experience with ICAM


DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: BA/BS (or equivalent experience), 5+ years of experience
