Washington, DC, USA | Salary | Full Time Senior Manual 508-Tester, Greater Washington, DC Area This is a Hybrid Position EM Key Solutions seeks a Senior Manual 508 Tester Duties:

Perform manual and automated accessibility testing on digital content and applications.

Evaluate websites, software, documents, and multimedia for compliance with Section 508 standards and guidelines.

Identify accessibility issues and provide detailed reports with recommendations for remediation.

Collaborate with developers, designers, and content creators to implement accessibility improvements.

Stay current with accessibility standards, regulations, and best practices.

Participate in accessibility audits and compliance reviews as needed.

Working with the business owner(s) to develop and implement related test plans/cases

DevSecOps Evaluation Expertise: Contributes technical guidance and expertise on integrating security best practices within the DevOps lifecycle, promoting a secure development environment.

Required Qualifications:

Tester should have an active DHS 508 Trusted Tester Level 5.0 certification. Tester who does not have an active DHS 508 Trusted Tester Level 5.0 certification will be required to complete FEMA 508

Testing Training will take place within fifteen days following completion of onboarding.

Tester will also be required to obtain a DHS 508 Trusted Tester Level 5.0 certification (available online) within 90 days of onboarding.

Strong understanding of accessibility standards and guidelines, including WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) and Section 508.

Proficiency in automated accessibility testing tools (e.g., Axe, Accessibility Insights).

Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web technologies.

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Effective communication skills, with the ability to articulate accessibility issues and solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Experience working in an Agile development environment is a plus.

Clearance:

Public Trust or equivalent clearance is desired. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
