This role is primarily responsible for the federal and multi-state tax compliance and supports the tax provision. The role will cover a broad range of tax deliverables, supporting all aspects of the tax department. A successful candidate will need to interact closely within the tax department, and with other departments across the organization including Research and Development, Payroll, Accounts Payable, Commercial, Business Development, Administration, Legal, Accounting, and Human Resources. The role will also interact with external service providers in various capacities.The Senior Tax Accountant will contribute to the growth and expansion of our business and the tax function via actively assisting the Directorship in process streamlining, automation and transformation of the emerging and changing organization. Assist in automating routine activities and departmental automation goals.

Prepare US federal proformas, consolidated federal tax return, stand alone and consolidated/combined state tax returns, including extensions and quarterly estimated payments.

Prepare tax return support workpapers (US federal & states & international).

Maintain tax depreciation and reconcile tax/book fixed assets.

Work closely with external service providers for data collection, SME coordination, project analysis and control of supporting documentation.

Assist in preparing US (federal and state) interim and year-end tax provision calculations.

Assist in preparing and maintaining deferred tax schedules.

Prepare and maintain carryover tax attributes (NOLs and tax credits).

Prepare indirect tax returns such as property tax returns, sales and use tax returns, VAT returns and various other filings.

Maintain files supporting key deliverables of the tax department.

Support various tax planning and analytical projects.

Assist with resolving external audits and notices through research and support documentation.

Independently prioritize and perform multiple tasks while meeting strict deadlines.

Education and Experience

Minimum 3 years of combined tax experience in Big 4 and/or multinational corporations.

Bachelor’s degree in Tax, Accounting; Master's in Tax a plus.

High level of experience in Thomson Reuters OneSource income tax, apportionment, and tax provision.

Strong skills with Microsoft Office Applications.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Base salary is part of our total rewards package which also includes the opportunity for merit-based salary increases, short incentive plan participation, eligibility for our 401(k) plan, medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurances and leaves provided in line with your work state. Our robust time-off policy includes unlimited paid time off, 11 paid holidays plus additional time off for a shut-down period during the last week of December, 80 hours of paid sick time upon hire and each year thereafter.
