The S&TO reports to Cisco's Cheif Security and Trust Officer and owns the innovation, training, and implementation of security and trust features and processes across all of Cisco's products.The Global Cloud Compliance (GCC) group within the STO is responsible to drive all compliance activities across Cisco. The team is responsible for enabling and protecting cloud offers sales for commercial, US Government, as well as many international public sector customers. This team works with sales and business unit partners to ensure accurate compliance security features and functionality are included in newer releases.Who you are ?Do you like designing and building cloud environments and cloud-native applications? Seeking a full-time Cloud Engineer to join a team of talented technology professionals.What you'll doThe candidate will work with our growing interdisciplinary team to design, build, and maintain secure cloud computing environments. With a thorough understanding of cloud architecture, AWS, GCP, and Microsoft Azure, this role leads the design, development, and management of robust, secure, scalable, highly available, and dynamic solutions to drive business objectives for a range of large organizations with mission-critical workloads. This position requires a problem-solver with solid experience in architecting, automation skills to eliminate manual operations, and proven skills addressing dynamic security compliance initiatives.General Responsibilities:
Support planning and design of cloud architectures, solutions, configurations, and migrations
Design and build modern cloud-native serverless architectures
Maintain and operate cloud computing environments for different organizations
Design and develop Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) automated deployment and configuration pipelines
Lead re-architecture and migration of legacy systems to cloud-native services
Manage design and implementation of IAM cloud identity access and authorization solutions
Design and implement cloud security solutions including automated routines for risk identification, policy checks, drift detection, remediation, and compliance reporting
Develop cloud systems documentation to support compliance reporting against enterprise architectural and cybersecurity policies (including a range of U.S. Federal Government, CIS AWS Foundations Benchmark, CIS Microsoft Azure Foundations Benchmark, HIPAA, GDPR, NIST 800-53, ISO 27001, PCI, SOC 2, and other controls)
Remediate and harden cloud environments to bring them into compliance with security standards
Manage users and workload resources in AWS, Azure, and others
Develop cloud-agnostic policies and tools while educating application teams on the benefits of each cloud environment
Use a version control system for code, such as git, subversion, Github, etc as part of CI/CD process
Must-Have Skills and Experience:
Extensive AWS, GCP, & Azure experience with serverless design patterns (use of Lambdas etc)
Infrastructure-as-Code: Terraform, CloudFormation, Azure Arm Templates, etc.
Hands-on experience with modern serverless and containerized computing platforms. E.g., Functions, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.
Experience with: Access & Identity Management Solutions: SSO, LDAP, OpenID, OAuth, SAML, AD, etc.
Strong cloud architecture principles: compute, storage, networks, security, cost savings, etc.
Knowledge of the FedRAMP assessment process and NIST 800-53 security controls especially emerging compliance-as-code standards such as OpenControl
BASH/PowerShell/Python scripting
Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills and experience communicating with technical and non-technical audiences
