Sr. Manager, Account Executive, Visa USA Sales, is responsible for developing, maintaining, and executing sales strategies for US Financial Institutions. This position is responsible for selling issuer payment processing services into financial institutions and negotiating contractual arrangements. The position will work closely with internal and external partners to ensure appropriate communication flows and sustained business relationships.Potential customers are usually medium to large financial institutions.  This role is a senior level functional sales member/leader within the sales function. This role is responsible for developing account strategies to increase revenues from existing accounts and win new accounts. This role is responsible for ensuring implementation of annual goals and plans.Essential Functions:Develop and execute customized account plans to increase sales volume and market share within the financial institution sectorsCreate new sales and revenue generating opportunities as appropriateExpand existing relationships/partnerships through the selling of issuer payment processing servicesUtilize a consultative sales approach that ensures that the client’s business objectives are met and that the performance metrics of their payment portfolios are maximizedPrepare proposals and negotiate contractual relationships with financial institutions for accepting and deploying issuer processing servicesContinuously review client landscape and recommend, develop, and implement new and creative approaches to growing the Visa businessAssist marketing and product development in launching new products or expanding the penetration of existing products within current and new accountsContribute to the development of functional strategyProvide operational or technical leadership within salesEnsure implementation of annual goals and plansWork closely with product management and other functions to understand all aspects of offers being sold to financial institutions and determine sales messagesFoster productive relationships at all levels with the client and the Visa organizationDevelop an understanding of the customer's business including payment strategy across all product platformsActively participate and lead various ad-hoc internal projects as assignedParticipate in sales meetings and training activitiesThis is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
