OverviewGovCIO is seeking a Program Coordinator to join our Intake Coordination Team (ICT) with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). The Program Coordinator will support the administrative functions of the ICT Program Manager and team. This role requires thought leadership, problem-solving, rapid learning, and an innovative mindset to guide clients through conceptualization, strategic planning, and execution. Flexibility and forward-thinking are crucial for success. The ideal candidate excels in open communication, managing group dynamics, and promoting innovation, problem-solving, and effective decision-making. This fully United States based remote position operates Monday-Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM ET.Responsibilities

Identify and streamline improvements to enhance team efficiency.

Recommend process improvements for documents, presentations,andSOPs.

Support fast turnarounddatarequests and understand the requirements.

Support change management strategies for program objectives.

Assist in identifying and managing risks and issues impacting ICT objectives.

Understand stakeholder needs and expectations.

Communicate clearly with team members, stakeholders, and participants.

Prioritize and manage multiple tasks concurrently.

Manage action items and follow up to ensure resolution.

Produce weekly deliverables andsubmit themon time.

Generate and present performance reports to leadership.

Maintain comprehensive documentation of program activities and decisions, capture andmonitoraction items, producing and communicating meeting minutes.

Assistteams in defining and achieving goals.

Ensure that programobjectivesare aligned with organizational goals and track progress using OKRs and KPIs.

Coordinate between teams to ensure clear communication and understanding of OKRs and KPIs, fostering a collaborative environment.

Collect, analyze, and report on performance data to provide insights and recommendations for improvement.

Manage group dynamics and resolve conflicts.

Assist in planning and organizing events, conferences, and meetings.

Handle conference packages from initiation to close out

Create and maintain event schedules, timelines, and agendas.

Promote events through Teams and email campaigns.

Handle attendee registrationand communications.

Oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown.

Take the lead on small projects.

Store official program data, documents, and artifacts per VA directives.

QualificationsRequired Skills and Experience

Bachelor's degree in business administration, business management, computer science, information systems, operations, research, or related fields. Certifications in relevant UX Software plus 3-5 years of relevant experience or 5-7 years of additional experience may be substituted for education.

Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.

Preferred Skills and Experience :

Experience with Veterans Affairs or other government agencies.

PMP, Scrum Master, and/or other Agile/SAFecertifications, Change Management Certification

Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills for assessing process effectiveness.

Proficiencyin life cycle and project management methodologies.

Familiarity with VA-centric applications like GitHub, JIRA, and ServiceNow.
