Join as the VP, Program Management and Shared services in an exciting and newly formed business unit that is focused on high growth in the point of sale, payment, remote site management and other technology within the retail solutions space. The technology solutions and the employees who develop these solutions will be at the heart of everything we do. The VP, Program Management & Shared Services will lead, inspire, manage, and develop a world-class global PMO function, as part of the executive team for the Global R&D Organization. This position will also lead our transition to a complete SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework).What will you do?

Globally will develop and implement PMO processes, tools, and policies to ensure alignment with company objectives, including rolling out Safe training across all of R&D.

Lead the Shared services teams such as System Integration, Automation, Vendor Management

Accountable for our Agile Development methodology processes and the deployment of a full enterprise, Scaled Agile Framework globally.

This person will drive several multiple, complex cross-functional initiatives to completion on budget, within scope and on schedule, including customer facing initiatives, Large global retailer program management as well as Release Train engineering leaders internally focused on building out our products.

Facilitate communication and collaboration among project stakeholders, including senior leadership, to ensure clear understanding of expectations, milestones, and deliverables.

This person will lead 60+ employees and several contractors in the PMO organization; additionally, will be leading a hardware and software team across multiple time zones and countries.Additionally, this position will also lead shared functions globally (approx. 30 people).

Partner with the senior leadership team to define, launch, and drive strategic and operational initiatives within key functions and across the organization.

Provide cost-benefit standards, KPIs, and milestones to ensure investment in the most strategic business and technology initiatives.

Monitor several program performances against predefined metrics and KPIs to track progress, identify areas for improvement during readouts.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business, Management, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Master’s degree or MBA preferred.

Minimum of 15 years of experience in program management, with at least 10 years in a leadership role managing a PMO.

Proven track record of leading large-scale programs and teams with successful outcomes.

Strong leadership skills, with the ability to influence, motivate and guide teams.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with all levels of the organization.

Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., PMI, Agile, Scrum) and certifications (PMP, PgMP, ScrumMaster) are highly desirable.

Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Experience in change management and relationship management.

Experience in the high-tech environment is a plus.

Experience in Safe is preferred.

The base compensation range for this position is $175K to $275K per year.
