NBC4 Washington is seeking a dynamic Weekend Anchor/Reporter to join our trusted, award-winning newsroom, serving audiences across Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia. Job Responsibilities Enterprise news storiesAnchor shows as assignedShoot, write and edit newsworthy events including breaking/spot news, general news, sports and feature storiesGather, write and produce material in fair, accurate and balanced mannerField produce, conduct interviews and shoot storiesPresent stories live on air partnering with photographers and as a single person MMJProvide news on-air and on other platforms as assigned from studio and field locationsEstablish and maintain solid sources to gain access to exclusive local news stories  Active community involvementCreate web content that complements the station website, mobile apps and social media platformsWork closely with Producers, News Managers and Assignment Editors, as well as Reporters and AnchorsDevelop and pitch story ideasSalary range: $110,000 - $130,000
