Project Manager Interior Remodeling

Project Manager (Ashburn, VA).

Local Custom Remodeling company is seeking a well organized, energetic, detail-oriented, team player to work with our clients and subcontractors.

Must be a self-starter who can handle a fast-paced job and be able to prioritize, multi task, who has positive attitude and understanding the deadlines.

Responsibilities :

Based on each project, the Project Manager will be responsible for hiring subcontractors to work with

Sending drawings for bidding to subcontractors, receiving all bids, obtain subcontractors proposals, granting to sub-contractor

Create schedules

Coordinate vendors/subcontractors

Material management; coordinate purchases and equipment rentals, coordinate material deliveries to job sites and company building. Inspect all materials as necessary, coordinate returns and records for management

Ensure subcontractors comply with company guidelines and county codes

Executes manual labor at site on certain occasions

Report and track potential change orders

Compose scopes of work

Build and maintain long-term relationships with the key vendors/subcontractors site visits and kick-off meetings

Meet with potential clients, subcontractors and engineers to determine the scope of work.

Attend client meetings as necessary

May include estimating extra work items, change orders, credits, procuring material, etc

Manages financial aspects of contracts to protect company’s interests and simultaneously maintain good relationships with clients.

Performing project walkthroughs for the design team and clients as needed and providing daily progress pictures

Reviewing designs and plans

Permit applications and inspections

Checking in daily for project updates

Addressing design issues

Delivering updates to the client as necessary and make special and important communications when needed

Finalizing the project

Following up with client

Receiving warranty calls and addressing issues

Maintaining company provided vehicle.

Experience:

Construction: 5 years preferred

Skilled in reading and interpreting plans and specifications

Have an eye for detail and great organizational skills

Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, and Web Browsers)

Experience with any of the following: residential addition projects, interior remodeling.

High school or equivalent (Preferred)

English (Required) Language Spanish (Preferred)

Qualifications:

Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs.

Must be able to work for 8-10 hours a day.

Clean driving record

Must pass background check
